We are thrilled to announce the launch of the Active Steps BCBA Career Advancement Program - a new initiative designed to support Clinical Supervisors like you in achieving BCBA certification and advancing into leaderhship roles within our organization

Active Steps is committed to developing our next generation of clinical leaders from within. This program removes the financial barriers to certification and creates a clear, supported path from Clinical Supervisors to BCBA

WHAT THE PROGRAM OFFERS

BCBA EXAM SPONSORSHIP

Active Steps will cover the cost of your initial BCBA examination fee and up to one retake - so you can focus on preparing, not on the price tag.

PRIORITY PROMOTION OPPORTUNITY

Once you earn your BCBA certification and meet employment requirements, you will be eligible for immediate promotion into an available BCBA position at Active Steps.

$500 CERTIFICATION BONUS

Receive a one-time bonus when you pass your BCBA exam and transition into a BCBA role with us.

$500 RETENTION BONUS

Receive an additional bonus after nine months in your BCBA role - our way of celebrating your continued growth with the team.

EXAM DAY OFF

Take a paid day off to sit for your BCBA examination (subject to scheduling approval).

MENTORSHIP & STUDY SUPPORT

Access to exam preparation resources, MENTORSHIP from Active Steps BCBAs and Clinical Directors, and professional development opportunities.

A FEW THINGS TO KNOW

Participation in this program is voluntary and does not guarantee certification, a specific salary increase, or immediate promotion. You must continue meeting all performance expectations throughout the program. Detailed program terms - including the exam fee repayment provisions that apply if you choose to leave Active Steps within a short time of receiving the sponsorship - are explained fully in the program documents you will receive if approved.

WHAT THE PROGRAM OFFERS

  1. Complete and submit a Program Application Form to your Clinical Director

  2. You Clinical Director, Human Resources, and Executive Leadership will review your application

  3. If approved, you will be invited to sign a Letter of Intent and a separate Exam Sponsorship & Repayment Agreement

  4. Begin your journey toward BCBA certification with Active Steps’ full support behind you.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE

To apply, you must currently:

  • Hold a Clinical Supervisor position at Active Steps

  • Be in good standing with no active disciplinary actions or Performance Improvement Plans

  • Meet current productivity and performance expectations

  • Have completed (or be actively working toward completing) all required BACB coursework and Supervision hours.
